Some 250 students participated in Walk & Roll Day recently. The Ocee Otters walked, rollerbladed and rode bikes or scooters to school during this PTA event, supported by the Georgia Safe Routes to School program. Benefits of the program include increased physical activity for children and reduced air pollution and traffic congestion near schools.
