Dolvin Elementary students now have access to the latest and greatest learning tool. The Dolvin Elementary School Foundation (DESF) has purchased two iPad carts that each hold 30 iPads. They are used daily by students in kindergarten through fifth grade for research, webquests, skill practice, blogging, and to make learning fun. If the teachers can envision it and the students can imagine it, there’s probably an app for it. The DESF raised funds to purchase the iPads through a direct giving campaign, a tennis tournament and silent auction, and through hosting a Boosterthon Fun Run.
