State Bridge Kids Help With Sandwich Drive

Fifth-grade students at made 340 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a local sandwich drive organized by Jewish Family and Career Services. The loaves of bread were brought in by one class. They took turn making the sandwiches while working on their assignments, and some even gave up recess time. The sandwiches will be handed out to homeless shelters in Atlanta. One student said, “I just feel so good inside after doing this!” Another student said, “I feel like I am personally making a difference.”
