Register for Hooch Baseball Camp, Get Signed Glavine Ball

Camp staff will include former Major Leaguers.

The Chattahoochee High School Dugout Club will hold a two-day baseball camp Dec. 20 and 21 for third- through eighth-grade boys. Enrollment is limited, but the first 30 campers to register will get an autographed baseball signed by former Atlanta Brave Tom Glavine.Β 

The Cougar Baseball Camp staff will include the Chattahoochee High School baseball coaching staff as well former Major Leaguers and college players, including Joe Fontenot, a starting pitcher with the Florida Marlins for five years, and Matt Cerione, a Hooch grad who played professionally in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Other camp coaches will include Jarrett Northcutt, a Hooch grad who played professionally for the White Plains Pupfish in the Pecos League, and Cordell Taylor, 53rd overall pick in the 1998 National Football League draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a defensive back.

Sessions both days will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost of the camp is $100, with checks payable to the Chattahoochee Dugout Club.
