Pisgah’s Thayer Signs With Reinhardt
Thayer was a two-year starter at shortstop for the Patriots.
Mount Pisgah Christian School baseball player Zach Thayer recently signed a scholarship to continue in career, as well as his education, at Reinhardt University. Thayer was a two-year starter at shortstop for the Patriots.
“Zach was a key part of our middle infield. His high baseball IQ makes him a player that will help Reinhardt. We wish Zach well as he advances to the next level,” said Pisgah head coach John O’Connor.
As a junior, Thayer helped lead the Patriots into the GHSA playoffs for the first time in school history. This spring, Thayer helped the Patriots post the most wins (14) since entering GHSA competition.
