Pisgah Students Go Global

Students recently visited South Korea and England.

While Atlanta was snowbound a few weeks ago, some  students were experiencing academic adventures thousands of miles away.

Pisgah President Scott Barron and a group of Preparatory School students spent nine days teaching young children at Mount Pisgah Korea in Seoul. In addition to exploring the history and lifestyle of another culture, many of these Pisgah students discovered a love for teaching through this “Minimester” experience.

This sister school of Mount Pisgah Christian School in Johns Creek recently opened and utilizes Pisgah's curriculum for Pre-K-4th grade. While their fellow students were in South Korea, another group of Pisgah upperclassmen were studying and touring the cultural wonders of England.

For 10 days these juniors and seniors walked in the footsteps of famous artists, evangelists and writers such as C.S. Lewis and John Stott. They saw where scholars began their quest for knowledge and were inspired to write, paint and create masterpieces of literature, song, art and philosophy.
