Pisgah Dominates Southwest Atlanta Christian

Patriots win 54-0.

The Mount Pisgah varsity football team easily defeated Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy 54-0 on Friday night. The Patriots (3-1) scored on their first eight possessions, with six different players scoring touchdowns.

Rondy Brownlee opened the scoring with a 17-yard touchdown run. Brownlee would add another score in the second quarter on an eight yard run. He finished the night with eight carries for 74 yards.

Oz Dixon scored the Patriots second touchdown on a 13 yard run.  Dixon tallied 73 yards on only four carries.

Ryan Felice scored the next two touchdowns, the first on a two yard run and the second on a 12 yard pass from Aaron Winchester. Felice caught two passes for 30 yards and added an interception on defense. Winchester was 3-of-4 passing for 63 yards. 

Austin Harper scored the team's fifth touchdown of the first quarter with a five yard touchdown run. Harper rushed for 71 yards on four carries and added one catch for 33 yards.

A seven yard run by Jacob Delk and an 11 yard run by Spencer Shields ended the scoring in the first half for the Patriots. Shields finished with six carries for 30 yards. 

The Patriots had three interceptions on defense. In addition to the pick by Felice, Justin Gilvin and Chase Clark brought in errant passes. 

Pisgah will be on the road next week as they open their Region schedule against Walker.
