Pisgah Boy's 10th, Girl's 12th at GHSA Golf Championships

Pisgah's boys' team qualified for the state tournament by winning Region 5-A.

The boys and girls golf teams competed in the GHSA championships on Monday with the boys finishing in 10th place and the girls in 12th. The boy’s competition was close with the Patriots shooting 326 as a team, only 10 shots out of fifth place.

Andres Saez led Pisgah with a 78. Scott Hoffman was close behind with a 79. Mitchell Phillips' 84 and Evan Piedrahita's 85 also factored into the team total. Jay Tyson (87) and Jeseub Yoon (90) competed as well.

The Lady Patriots shot a 219 to finish in 12th place. Georgia Sims shot a 107 and Sarah Austin a 112 for the teams total. Marie Keeter (114) and Katherine Wilkison (133) were also on the course for Pisgah.

Pisgah's boys team qualified for the state tournament by winning Region 5-A. In only their second year of existence the girls finished second in the Region, qualifying for their first ever state tournament.
