Doug Dixon, who has served as Pisgah’s head football coach since 2007, has resigned and will be leaving the school at the end of this school year. During his six season tenure, Coach Dixon led the transition from interscholastic participation in GISA to GHSA and initiated the Junior Patriots program, which enjoyed an all-time high enrollment in 2012. He also assembled a strong group of assistant football coaches, a group that led the varsity team to its first visit to the GHSA state playoffs.

“I am deeply grateful to Doug Dixon, who is a man of energy, faith and integrity, for moving our young program forward on so many fronts,” said Head of School John Marshall. “He is a man of passion, energy, and ambition and we greatly appreciate his contributions to our school.”
