Patriots Roll Past Fellowship 55-0

Pisgah unleashes ground attack on Fellowship.

The Mount Pisgah varsity football team rolled up 311 yards of rushing offense on Friday night as they dominated Fellowship 55-0. The win keeps the Patriots (6-3) alive in the chase for a playoff spot. They will close the regular season on Friday when they travel to Darlington in a Region 6-A crossover game. 

Aaron Winchester led the offense with 78 yards rushing and two touchdowns on only three carries. The sophomore quarterback was also 4-of-6 passing for 66 yards and another touchdown.

Austin Harper picked up 71 yards and two touchdowns of his own on four carries. Rondy Brownlee also found the end zone twice, carrying the ball 11 times for 65 yards. Freshman Justin Gilvin posted 60 yards rushing and a late touchdown on only three carries.

Oz Dixon caught a 20 yard touchdown strike from Winchester to lead the receiving corps. Harper and Jacob Delk each caught one pass for 21 yard gains. 

Foster Gailey led the defense with seven tackles and Delk finished with six more. John O’Connor, JR Cendoya and Dylan Dixon each tallied five tackles.
