The Mount Pisgah Christian School boys varsity basketball team had four players named to the All-Region 5-A team. Senior Danny Schneider and junior Kyle Sloter were first team selections, while Blake Piedrahita and Joseph Marco were honorable mention picks.
Schneider, a forward, led the team in rebounds (8.4 per game), steals (31 total) and blocks (35 total). He also averaged 10.5 points per game. Sloter, a guard, led the team in scoring with 17.2 points per game. He also led the team with three assists per game and averaged 4.8 rebounds.
Piedrahita, a senior forward, averaged 8.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Marco, a junior guard, averaged 9.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
