Students participating in Accelerated Reader program celebrated their love of reading in February with a special Valentine's promotion in the computer lab. Â
For several days some 100 students visited the lab each morning before school to take a quiz on books they had read and to earn points toward rewards. Accelerated Reader is a PTA-sponsored reading comprehension enrichment program designed to motivate and increase independent reading throughout the year.
