The Johns Creek Gladiators had no answer for the Northview Titans and their starting pitcher Evan LaForge on Saturday. LaForge pitched a complete game, giving up only one run to the Gladiators and chalking up a 9-1 win.
Northview opened things up early, scoring twice in the top of the first inning. Johns Creek came back with a run of their own in the bottom of the first, but that was as close as it got.
The Gladiators were shutout for the remainder of the game, while Northview picked up two runs in the third, two runs in the sixth, and three runs in the seventh inning.
In addition to starter John Martin, Johns Creek used three relief pitchers, but could not halt the Titans run production.

The win moves Northview to 4-4 for the season. Johns Creek goes to 4-6 overall.
