Northview Cruises to Lacrosse Win Against Centennial

Titans down the Knights 19-2

On Tuesday, the Northview Titans boys lacrosse team showed why LaxPower.com has moved them back into the No. 1 position in its rankings for Georgia high school lacrosse.  The Titans hosted the Centennial Knights and controlled the game from start to finish.

Northview held the Knights scoreless in the first quarter while putting in five goals of its own.  The Titans chalked up seven more goals in the second period.  Centennial scored once just before halftime to make the score 12-1 at the break.

The Titans came back in the third period with four goals and once again held the Knights scoreless to take a 15-1 lead into the final period.  Centennial's Keenan Tarrant opened the scoring in the fourth quarter putting in the Knights final goal of the game.  Northview answered with four more goals to make the final score 19-2.

Northview's Michael Trainer led all scorers with five goals.  Preston Lovingood had four goals for the Titans, while Kevin Colton, Moon-Tae Kim and Kharthik Bhat put in two goals each.  Keenan Tarrant scored both of Centennial's goals.

The win moves Northview to 13-3 on the season.
