Pisgah's Nicole Peters Honored as Top Student Athlete

XL212 and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce named Peters and three other North Fulton residents as Student Athletes of the Month.

A  tennis player was one of four student athletes honored at this week's Eggs & Enterprise Breakfast.

XL212, in partnership with the , honored the April and March students in the chamber's Education Edition of the E&E Breakfast. Students are chosen for their outstanding academic, athletic, and civic accomplishments.

Nicole Peters, Mount Pisgah Christian

Nicole Peters is a Junior Tennis Player from . Nicole played No. 1 doubles for the State Champion girls' tennis team last year and remains a staple for the No. 1 doubles team as a captain for the current #1 ranked tennis team. This is her second year as the captain for the tennis team. As a student, she has a 3.89 GPA and scored a 2020 on the SAT. Nicole also serves her community as a member of the National Honor Society and as the Secretary for the Student Government. She serves as a Patriot Guide for her school by giving campus tours, and she also devotes some of her spare time to the North Fulton Community Charities.

Evan Nolte, Milton High

Evan Nolte has been a leader for Milton's varsity basketball team where he helped the team to a 113-15 record as a four-year starter. During his career, Milton went to four state championship games, winning two. He was an AAAAA Player of the Year and the MVP of the Beach Ball Classic.

After averaging 17 points per game and 7 rebounds per game this past year, he was named the 6-AAAAA Player of the year and was ranked No. 55 in ESPN's Top 100 rankings for high school basketball players. Evan committed to play basketball at the University of Virginia. In the classroom, he earned a 3.7 GPA and serves his community as a mentor to younger students and athletes.

Dustin Beggs, Centennial High

Dustin has been an exceptional baseball player for , both as a hitter and as a pitcher.  So far this season, Dustin has a .500 batting average, hit 4 home runs with 21 runs batted in, and scored 16 runs.  As a pitcher, Dustin has a record of 6-3 with 1 save and an ERA of 3.06.  In just 50 innings pitched, Dustin has 57 strikeouts.  In the classroom, Dustin has a 92 GPA, and he scored a 1790 on the SAT.

He is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and particpated in the TAG program at Centennial for all four years of his high school career.  Dustin has also been a part of an Internship at Neurosport Physical Therapy.  He is a member of HOSA and finished first in the state competition for Biomedical Debate.  In the community, Dustin served as a Student Adventure Leader and volunteered at .  He also tutors students at Hillside and Northwood Elementary schools.

Rachel Jacobs, Riverwood

Rachel Jacobs is a Senior Lacrosse Player from . As an athlete, she has participated in multiple sports including cross country, cheerleading, and her primary sport, lacrosse. Rachel lettered all four years for the lacrosse team, and she was the captain during her junior and senior years and earned multiple awards during her athletic career.

As a student, Rachel is the salutatorian for her class with a 100.4 GPA.  For each of her four years, she was a Principal's Scholar and earned numerous other honors for her work in the classroom. Rachel served her community through the student government of her school, as a Madrichim at the Temple Religious School, and as the President for the Habitat for Humanity. Rachel also participated as a Biochemical Researcher at Emory University where she worked on a personal research project.
