Local Tennis Teams Await Tournaments
Mount Pisgah, Johns Creek, Northview and Chattahoochee squads all ranked high going into this week's matches.
Tennis teams representing Johns Creek should fare very well in their respective region tournaments this week. They are well represented in the latest GaPrepCountry.com coaches’ poll. In Class A, the Mount Pisgah girls are ranked No. 1, and the boys are ranked No. 4. Johns Creek is also represented by both the boys and the girls teams. The girls are No. 5 and the boys are No. 1 in Class 4A. The Chattahoochee boys are No. 6 in Class 4A. The Northview boys are the third-ranked team in Class 3A. … The Mount Pisgah girls are 11-0 heading into the Region 5 tournament, the boys are 9-2 this season. … The Johns Creek boys have only one loss on the season (to Northview) and will be favorites in the Region 7 tournament. The Lady Gladiators are 10-6.
