Lemonade Wars at Dolvin

Elementary school raises money for childhood cancer.

The subdivisions held Lemonade Wars on Oct. 1 to raise money to help find a cure for childhood cancer. The students raised almost $2,500 and collected more than 1,100 toiletry items, which will be put into kits for children with cancer. More than 50 students participated in the Lemonade Wars stands with 40 parents chaperoning. The subdivisions of Dunmoor/Waters Cove/Woodbrooke β€œwon” the contest by raising $1,044, but, according to the school, all the students are winners for helping such a great cause.
