Junior Civitans Inducted in Johns Creek
Some 100 members from three high schools become Civitans.
Having only launched this summer, the Johns Creek chapter of Civitan International has achieved one of its primary goals: It recently inducted some 100 members into Junior Civitan clubs.
Consisting of students from Chattahoochee, Johns Creek and Northview high schools, the three junior clubs will further the Civitan mission of giving back to the community through volunteerism.
It's a "rare moment" in Civitans to charter three clubs at once, said local Civitan President Doug Smith at the induction ceremony, which took place at St. Benedict's Taylor Lodge.

"Together we have . . . an opportunity to make an impact," said Northview's Junior Civitan President, Eric Beppler, during the invocation.
