Johns Creek Students Dominate Science Fair

43 projects from Fulton County will be exhibited this weekend.

Seventeen Johns Creek school science projects — out of 43 overall in Fulton County — are competing in the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair this weekend at the University of Georgia.

After earning first place at the regional level, these 43 projects now advance to the state fair. In the 2011 Fulton County Schools Regional Science and Engineering Fair, nearly 240 budding scientists and engineers competed.

The regional competition was open to students in middle school and high school whose research projects were deemed exemplary at their own school fair. First place winners from Johns Creek schools include:
