Johns Creek Schools Fare Better than Fulton on Grad Rate

Local high schools have a much better graduation rate than the county or the state.

About 71 percent of Fulton County high school students graduated within four years during 2012, according to new figures the Georgia Department of Education released this week. But, Johns Creek schools rated much higher than their Fulton counterparts.

The graduation rate at Johns Creek's three public high schools was over 20 percent higher than the Fulton County Schools average and nearly 30 percent higher than the state average of 67.44 percent.
