Hooch's Aubrey Bausum Signs for Lacrosse

Chattahoochee High School’s Aubrey Bausum has accepted an academic scholarship to Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky., where she will play NCAA Division III lacrosse for Coach Haley Marvine, a Chattahoochee graduate. 

Bausum, a three-year letterman, is a varsity team captain, a Cougar Pride Award recipient and received the Athletic Academic Award from 2010-2012.  She was Offensive Lacrosse Player of the Year in 2010. Bausum helped lead the varsity team to the 2010 and 2011 Area Championships. In 2011, she was selected to play on the US Lacrosse National Team One representing Georgia. 

When not playing lacrosse, Bausum coaches a Jr. Cougar U11 girls' lacrosse team and is a girls' lacrosse referee. She has also played lacrosse for ATL Lacrosse. For Hooch lacrosse, she is currently ranked No. 1 in goals scored, points earned and draw controls.

She plans on majoring in pre-physical therapy at Transylvania University.
