The governor's wife, Sandra Deal, recently visited Mount Pisgah Korea, delivering dozens of handmade cards featuring greetings from the children’s counterparts at in Johns Creek.

Mrs. Deal accompanied her husband, Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Cummiskey and other representatives from the governor’s office as they visited South Korea and China on an economic development mission. The delegation called on government officials, schools, business prospects and companies with existing operations in Georgia.

During her visit, Mrs. Deal had the opportunity to meet with students and school officials at Mount Pisgah Korea. The school was established in 2010, utilizing the pre-K through fourth grade curriculum developed at Mount Pisgah Christian School in the United States. There is high demand for the Pisgah education in Seoul where parents place high value on their children’s mastery of the spoken and written English language.
