Second Annual Johns Creek Earth Day Event

Everyone is invited to celebrate Earth Day by joining the National Park Service and learning more about amphibians and reptiles of the Chattahoochee River Watershed in the Johns Creek area and their importance to the Earth we all share. The second annual Johns Creek Earth Day Event will include a Spring Discovery Hike on the Lutra Loop Trail, a Frog Monitoring Workshop, and a Family Reptile Show and Campfire Event. All programs are free to the public. This event is hosted and organized by the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, the Johns Creek Community Wildlife Habitat Project, and Whole Foods Market of Johns Creek.

Programs include:
Lutra Loop Trail Spring Discovery Hike, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Frog Identification and Monitoring Workshop, 2:30 - 6:30 pm
Earth Day Reptile and Amphibian Family Campfire Event, 7:30 – 10:30 pm
Live Reptile Show by Naturalist Greg Greer of “Mr. Greg’s Reptile Roadshow”, 7:30 pm

All events are FREE, but each requires reservations at 678-538-1200.
