Chattahoochee Students to Bring 1950’s to Life in School Play

'The Outsiders' will be performed April 19 & 20.

S.E. Hinton's hit novel "The Outsiders" is brought to life onstage in Chattahoochee High School's Little Theater for two nights only.

Take a trip back in time to the 1950's, when the girls were sweet, the boys were wild, and Rock 'n' Roll reigned supreme. "The Outsiders" follows a gang of "Greasers" in the 1950’s who continuously find trouble with the rich kids in town, known as "The Socs."

Sensitive Ponyboy Curtis (Alex Thomas) and his brothers, Darry (Brian Samuels) and Sodapop (Drew Townsend) head the gang of Greasers with the town rebel, Dallas Winston (Bobby Singleton). Things come to a head when Ponyboy’s best friend, Johnny Cade (Sam Vernik) murders a Soc and hides from the police in an abandoned church with Ponyboy.
