The Chattahoochee boys lacrosse team hosted the Duluth Wildcats on Friday in a non-region contest. For the first seven minutes of the game, both teams appeared to be evenly matched.
The Cougars struck first with a goal by Michael Puglisi at the 5:03 mark of the first quarter. Quentin Johnson scored again for Chattahoochee with 1:12 left in the first period, giving the Cougars a 2-0 advantage at the beginning of the second quarter.
The Cougars scored three more times in the second period and went into halftime leading Duluth 5-0.

The Wildcats' first goal came when Zack Consie scored with 51 seconds remaining in the third period, but not before Chattahoochee had added four more goals to their tally, which gave the Cougars a 9-1 lead entering the final period.
Duluth's Wesley Ramon scored the Wildcats' final goal, while the Cougars put in two more to notch the 11-2 victory.
