Candidates Forum, SPLOST Discussion Tonight

Thanks to an event sponsored by the Johns Creek High School PTSA, candidates for Post 2 of the Johns Creek City Council are slated to participate in a forum tonight, just two weeks before the Nov. 8 elections.

Running for City Council Post 2 are Swapna Bhave, Steve Broadbent and John Raffensperger. The three candidates are vying for the open position that will be vacated by Dan McCabe at the end of the year.

A meet and greet with refreshments at 6 p.m. will precede the 6:30 p.m. forum at .

Following the candidates forum will be a SPLOST discussion at 7:30 with Robert Avossa, Fulton County Schools superintendent; Brandon Beach, Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce president and CEO; and Heidi Overton, associate broker, The Overton Team, RE/MAX Center. A meet and greet with refreshments will follow at 8:30.

Yard signs, SPLOST IV information and sample ballots will be available at the event.
