Students and teachers at Medlock Bridge Elementary School were charmed to meet Carmen Agra Deedy in their library recently. Deedy is the author of "The Library Dragon" and many other books for kids. She is a magical story teller and captivated Medlock Bridge students with exciting tales from her childhood as well as folk tales from Mississippi and Latin America. Students heard about her writing process, how she creates characters and what inspires her when she is writing. She even shared tidbits from a new story that she is working on.
