UPDATE: All Lanes On Jones Bridge Road Are Now Open
The Fulton County Water & Sewer Department is expected complete repairs to the 8-inch pipe by 4 p.m. today.
UPDATE at 5:44 p.m.: water has been restored to residences and businesses at the Jones Bridge/State Bridge road intersection and and all lanes are now open.

A boring crew installing fiberoptic cable struck an unmarked water line at Jones Bridge Road at State Bridge Road, prompting Fulton County Water Department crews to shut off water to nearby businesses while they repair the 8-inch pipe.

About 100 feet of southbound lane of Jones Bridge Road is closed at the intersection, but traffic is continuing to flow smoothly.
Repairs are expected to be complete about 4 p.m.
