Veterans of all branches of the military are invited to attend a Resource Forum on Tuesday, Aug. 21, starting at 11 a.m. at the North Fulton Service Center at 7741 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
The event is sponsored by Fulton County Health Services to inform veterans about services available for them and their families.
The special forum is for current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their family members. Attendees will receive information about accessing primary care, behavioral health, substance abuse and social services resources in Fulton County.
The forum will also feature presentations from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by three leading veterans' organizations, Veterans Heart Georgia, BraveHeart and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
“We are grateful for all servicemen and women and hope they will take advantage of the health and social services provided by Fulton County,” said Patrice A. Harris, MD, Director of Fulton County Health Services. “We believe it is important to support those who have served our county, and to make sure they are aware that help is available should they need us.”
