Qualifying Dates Coming Up For City Elections

The mayor's seat and three city council seats are up for re-election.

Four Johns Creek City Council seats are up for re-election this fall. The mayor's seat and council seats for posts 1, 3 and 5 are up for vote in November.

The qualifying period for residents interested in running for one of these seats is Monday, Aug. 26 - 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at City Hall, 12000 Findley Road, Suite 400, Johns Creek 30097.

Qualifying fees:

  • $450.00 for one of the city council seats
  • $750.00 for the mayoral seat

Johns Creek municipal elections will be held Nov. 5, 2013. If a run-off election is necessary, that date is Tuesday, Dec. 3.
