POLL: Reaction to Affordable Health Care Ruling

Johns Creek's State Rep. Lynne Riley is 'extremely disappointed.' Tell us what you think.

The that requires the purchase of insurance as a tax.

“I am extremely disappointed that the United States Supreme Court has expanded the federal government’s influence over the lives of every American," said State House Rep. Lynne Riley (R-Johns Creek). "As a nation founded on freedom and liberty, this ruling is a dangerous turn in our history. Every action must be taken to repeal this law. Voting matters, and I encourage Georgians to support candidates in November who value personal responsibility and less government intrusion in our lives.”

Said State Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell), who represents a portion of Johns Creek: "This is an egregious overreach of federal government authority. Our founding fathers feared this type of action and it is now incumbent upon the states to opt out of this flawed mandate and elect a President and Congress to overturn this law. We must return to the principles that made America great. I am disappointed and ready to do everything possible to protect Georgia and America by overturning Obamacare."
