Lynne Riley Appointed To House Transportation Committee

The state representative from Johns Creek will serve on the House Study Committee on For-Hire Transportation Services.

State Rep. Lynne Riley of Johns Creek was one of five legislators who were appointed to the House Study Committee on For-Hire Transportation Services. 

Riley, along with fellow Republicans Alan Powell of Hartwell, John Carson of Marietta, Emory Dunahoo of Gainesville and Dale Rutledge of McDonough, were appointed on Thursday by Georgia House Speaker David Ralston.

Powell will serve as chair of the committee, which was created by House Resolution 1805. The committee will study and make possible recommendations in relation to the transportation for-hire industry.
