Johns Creek To Restrict Traffic on Sargent Road

Residents are encouraged to take an alternate route on Thursday as the city works to remove an oak tree on the south side of the road.

Johns Creek motorists who make Sargent Road part of their daily commute patterns may want to find an alternate route.

The city of Johns Creek will continue to restrict access along the thoroughfare between Findley Road and Carriage Park Way from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24.

The restrictions are designed to allow crews to continue removing an oak tree on the south side of the road.

The tree was struck by lightning and city crews believe the tree poses a threat. The city encourages residents to find an alternate route.
