Johns Creek Arts Festival Coming in October

Splash Festivals is organizing this year's event.

Ready, set and shop at the all-new Johns Creek Arts Festival on the  fields directly across from the club. The celebration of the arts will take place on Oct. 27 and 28 on the grounds overlooking Medlock Bridge Road.

The is presenting this event while the Johns Creek Convention and Visitors Bureau and Arts on the Creek are also hosting the festival.

This year, Splash Festivals, the producer of the award-winning Dunwoody Art Festival and Norcross Art Fest, has been tapped to create festival Splash is known for its whimsical and colorful shows; and owners Frances Schube and Cindy Flynn say they look forward to showcasing an incredible line-up of imaginative and creative artisans from around the country.

Shoppers can expect to find clay, folk art, glass, jewelry, fiber, metal, mixed media, paintings, photography, woodwork and lots more. “We are so excited to be working with the City of Johns Creek,” said Flynn. “This wonderful area is the perfect venue for a great festival, and the artisans that are invited can’t wait to show off their talents to the festival-goers.”

In addition to the visual arts, Johns Creek Arts Festival will have continuous live entertainment from local groups and organizations as well as a Saturday-night concert that will be followed by fireworks.

Of course, no great festival would be complete without an energizing Kidz Zone, yummy eats and a few surprises. For Georgia/Florida fans, large screen televisions will be available at the food pavilion for avid watchers to view the Big Game.
