Festivities continue Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Day 1 of the city's first annual Johns Creek Arts Festival saw healthy crowds enjoying art vendors, food stands, live entertainment, a Kids Zone and a pet parade.

The festival continues today, Saturday, through 6 p.m. followed by a free concert by the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra and fireworks tonight at 7. The fun starts all over again tomorrow, Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a children's parade at 11 and a jazz brunch.

The festival is taking place at the Atlanta Athletic Club fields.

Did anyone get a photo of the first place winner in the pet costume contest? If so, could they please email them to alicia@standardclub.org? Thanks so much!
