Legislative Redistricting Public Hearing

Over the coming months, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners will consider the development of a proposed county-wide redistricting plan, based on changes in Fulton County communities over the past decade as reported by the 2010 Census. Citizens are encouraged to participate in this important process through opportunities for public input.

Community input will be considered during the process of drawing new commission district maps, which will take effect with the next Board of Commissioners’ election in 2014.

Fulton County residents are invited to a public hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. to provide input.  The hearing will take place during a special called meeting of the Board of Commissioners in Assembly Hall of the Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor St., SW, Atlanta.
