Abbotts Bridge Road Construction Open House Thursday

Planned improvements for Abbotts Bridge include adding a center turn-lane, bikeable shoulders, and enhanced sidewalks on the north side of the road from Abbotts Elementary School to Ocee Library.

The City of Johns Creek will host an open house Thursday concerning proposed improvements on Abbots Bridge Road.

This meeting to be held at City Hall has twice been postponed in recent weeks due to winter storms. It will finally be held Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 12000 Findley Road.

According to the City’s website, “planned improvements for Abbotts Bridge include adding a center turn-lane, bikeable shoulders, and enhanced sidewalks on the north side of the road from Abbotts Elementary School to Ocee Library.”

The project, which is set to begin next year, will run between Jones Bridge and Parsons roads west of Medlock Bridge Road.
