Three Johns Creek Teens Arrested in Drug Bust

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

Three Johns Creek males, ages 17, 18 and 19, were arrested and charged when police caught them in a vehicle with marijuana outside Camden River Apartments.

Four Johns Creek police officers responded to the complex after someone complained that a white Jeep and a black SUV had been meeting every night to exchange duffel bags.

The officers located a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and found three males crouching down to avoid detection inside the vehicle. One of the officers ordered all the males to make their hands visible.

The officers searched the vehicle and located various items with marijuana residue, a marijuana seed separator, and a plastic bag containing marijuana.

All three suspects denied knowledge of the marijuana or paraphernalia.

One of the suspects' vehicles, a black Chevrolet Suburban, was located near the Jeep. A K-9 officer indicated that he detected the scent of drugs on both vehicles. Marijuana residue was then located in the black vehicle.

All three suspects were arrested and charged for felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and were transported to the North Fulton Annex Jail in Alpharetta.
