Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.
Here are September's numbers as published in the newsletter:

Traffic accidents: 140
The burglaries occurred at 3575 Old Alabama Road, Jones Bridge Plantation, Mayfair, Cameron Forest (2), Rivermont, Abbotts Mill, Wellesley, Farm Brook Estates and Edgewater Estates
The car break-ins occurred at Newtown Park (3), 9820 Nesbit Ferry Road, Silver Ridge (2), 9925 Haynes Bridge Road, Silver Ridge, 4780 Morton Road, 8475 Holcomb Bridge Road, Morningside at the Park, 10625 Parsons Road, 9900 Medlock Bridge Road, 11720 Medlock Bridge Road, Morton Plantation, 11555 Johns Creek Parkway, 5950 State Bridge Road, Aviary (3), Lakehill and Donamere (2).
According to the newsletter, the top five intersections for vehicle accidents were (1) Abbotts Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (2) State Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (3) Old Alabama and Haynes Bridge, (4) Old Alabama and Nesbit Ferry, and (5) Jones Bridge and State Bridge.
According to the police department, there were no fatalities in these incidents, with 6 percent reporting injuries. Most accidents happened on Fridays at night in clear weather and were caused by following too closely.
