The funeral service for Griffin and Jake Prince, the Buford brothers who were killed in the boating collision last month on Lake Lanier, will be Tuesday in Suwanee.

The service will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4833 Suwanee Dam Road, according to a statement issued Monday by representatives of the Prince family. This church is very near .

The Prince family asks that attendance be limited to family and close friends, the spokesperson said.

Those attending are asked to be seated at the church by 11:40 a.m.. Parking will be at the church, and overflow parking will be at North Gwinnett High.

A , the Buford brothers who were killed in a Lake Lanier boating collision last month, will be Monday in Gwinnett.

Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel and Gardens in Buford will host visitation for the youths from 6-9 p.m., according to the website.

– Cumming Patch

A Cumming man has been charged with homicide by vessel and boating under the influence in connection with a  officials with the Department of Natural Resources announced Monday.

In a press release, the DNR said that Steven Brent Parker, 32, of Cumming has been charged with four counts: homicide by vessel (felony), serious injury by vessel (felony), BUI and reckless operation of a vessel. Officials said conviction on both felony counts would carry a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison. These charges were filed following an investigation by DNR Wildlife Resources Division rangers, working with the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office. DNR officials said Parker turned himself in to Gwinnett County authorities on Sunday. He is currently out on $22,250 bond, according to jail records.
