Johns Creek Police arrested three suspects after a victim reported he was robbed at gunpoint and shoved into a van.
On Dec. 27 a Johns Creek resident told police that he pulled into a parking space at Kroger on Douglas Road. He said as he was walking to the store, a green minivan pulled halfway into the space in front of him, blocking his path.
The victim told police a passenger stepped out of the van, holding a pistol. The suspect pushed the victim facedown into the back of the minivan. The victim told police that the suspect began to hit him on the back of the head and pull his hair, and that two other men in the minivan also began to hit him.
The victim said the suspects took his ball cap, valued at $60, and his wallet, containing about $140 cash, debit card and gift card.
He said the suspects eventually stopped hitting him and pushed him out of the vehicle, which pulled out of the parking lot and onto Douglas Road.
The victim told police he did not know any of the suspects, but was able to give police the minivan's tag number. Officers went to the address where the minivan was registered, and eventually arrested the three suspects.
Two 18-year-old males from Alpharetta and one 20-year-old male from Johns Creek were arrested and charged with felony armed robbery.
