Johns Creek Police Blotter: Vehicle Break-Ins at Park, Golf Club

Vehicle Break-Ins:

A vehicle was reported broken into while parked at Newtown Park on May 18. An iPod and $60 cash were taken.

A vehicle was reported broken into while parked at River Pines Golf Club on Old Alabama Road on May 19. A computer bag, credit cards and passport were taken.

A vehicle was reported broken into while parked on Findley Chase Drive on May 19. A briefcase, laptop, backpack and athletic club were taken.

Thefts:

On May 16 a vendor working at Kroger, 10945 State Bridge Road, reported his laptop stolen after he left it on a display table and walked away for a few minutes. Security camera footage showed a black male, 30 to 35 years of age, picking up the laptop, paying for a few items, and walking out of the store.

On May 18 a customer at Lifetime Fitness, 11555 Johns Creek Parkway, reported his wedding band, wallet, Rolex watch and credit cards stolen from his locker, which had been left secure.

DUIs:

John David Carr, 24, of Oxford, MS, was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident on May 20 on Kimball Bridge Road at State Bridge Road.
