Johns Creek Police Blotter: Purse Reported Stolen From Car While Couple Distracted Owner
Here's a sampling of arrests and incidents recently reported by Johns Creek police. None of the persons named has been convicted of a crime.
DUIs:
Cathleen Craven Federico, 59, of Peachtree City was arrested for DUI on April 30 on Kimball Bridge Road at State Bridge Road.

On April 29 a resident of Chelsea Woods Apartments on Bristol Circle reported her silver Volkswagen Jetta stolen. She said it was parked in front of her building in a regular parking space and was left locked.

On April 29 an Alpharetta resident reported her purse taken from her car. She said she went inside the Bank of America on Jones Bridge Road and when she got back in her car a couple pulled up behind her with the passenger side of the vehicle facing her so that she could not back out. The male exited the vehicle while the female asked the victim for directions without getting out of her car. The victim believes the male took her purse while she was distracted. She said the couple appeared to be Middle Eastern and were driving a gray Dodge Caravan mini-van.
