JCPD Seeking Suspect in Jones Bridge Shooting

Jason Culmer is suspected in April 20 shooting incident on Jones Bridge Road.

The Johns Creek Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Jason Culmer, 46, a suspect wanted for Aggravated Assault and Cruelty to Children resulting from . 

He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Culmer, a black male, with bald head and brown eyes, is a native of Philadelphia, PA.  Detectives believe he has returned to the Philadelphia area, following the incident last week.  Arrest warrants have been issued.

Anyone with information leading to Culmer’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS or www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Tips are submitted anonymously and may be eligible for monetary reward. 

Last week's incident involved a man being shot twice in the chest and leg in front of Auto Services Unlimited on Jones Bridge Road.

According to reports obtained from the Roswell Police Department, the shooting victim, a 37-year-old man who is a resident of Johns Creek, drove to Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell with a woman and two children also in the car. The victim received treatment from EMTs from Fire Station #4 after his car was noticed parked in the center lane.

He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta and was in ok condition as of midweek.

Roswell Police called the Johns Creek Police Department to let them know the vehicle was there and the man had received treatment. JCPD arrived on the scene to investigate and had also responded to 911 calls regarding shots being fired on Jones Bridge Road.
