Blotter: Chicken Shoplifting, Car Theft

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Shoplifting

On Feb. 9 an Alpharetta woman was cited for shoplifting for attempting to shoplift a chicken and brown sugar from , 8465 Holcomb Bridge Road, after a store employee called police. The employee detained the woman when he noticed her attempting to conceal the items and leave the store without paying. Store management also issued a trespass notice to the woman, who was escorted off the property.

On Feb. 11 a blue Honda Odyssey was reported stolen while parked on River Walk Landing.

Theft

On Feb. 10 at customer at , 9945 Jones Bridge Road, reported that his money clip containing credit and debit cards and drivers license was stolen while he was working out.

Vehicle Break-Ins

On Feb. 5 two vehicles parked on Sugar Crest Avenue was reported broken into. Sunglasses and one of the vehicle's owners manuals were reported stolen. A digital camera that had been taken from one of the vehicles was found nearby.

On Feb. 5 a vehicle parked on Glenleigh Drive was reported broken into. Sunglasses and a GPS unit were reported stolen.

On Feb. 5 a vehicle parked on Hurstbourne Lane was reported broken into. A GPS unit was reported stolen.

On Feb. 6 a vehicle parked on Pinion Lane was reported broken into on Dec. 24. Christmas presents and clothing were reported stolen.

On Feb. 6 a vehicle parked on Rose Creek Circle was reported broken into. Drivers licenses, credit cards and debit cards were reported stolen.
