On Nov. 12 a resident on Prestwick Club Drive reported that he was robbed at gunpoint in his driveway. The resident told the dispatched police officer that when he arrived home he pulled his vehicle into his garage. As he was exiting the vehicle he looked up to see a man pointing a small black handgun at him. The said the man stated, "Give me the money." The resident told the suspect that he didn't have any money.
The suspect then looked at the resident's Rolex watch and stated, "I want that." The resident told the suspect that the watch had a lot of sentimental value. According to the police report, the suspect then stated, "I don't want to hurt you, but if you don't give me the watch I'm going to kill you." The resident gave the suspect the watch, and the suspect ordered him to go inside, and the suspect then ran east toward Medlock Bridge Road.
The resident ran inside and told his wife, who called 911. The resident went back to his car and drove around trying to locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, clean shaven, 5 foot 3 to 5 foot 6 inches in height, 140 to 160 pounds. The suspect was described as calm and direct, wearing dark clothing and a dark ski cap. The handgun was described as small and black with a silver strip down the side.
The resident said he did not notice any suspicious vehicles when he entered his neighborhood.
Alpharetta K-9 units were dispatched to the scene but were unsuccessful and the suspect was not located.
On Oct. 28 a home on Morton Road was reported broken into. A Cartier watch, an Aqua Masters watch and an iPhone were reported stolen.
On Nov. 7 police responded to an alarm at , 11855 Jones Bridge Road. The responding officer found the front door open. A K-9 was sent into the building, but no suspects were found. An employee who was called to the scene observed that the only items that appeared to be taken were 20 to 30 cartons of cigarettes.
On Nov. 7 a home on Winford Chase was reported broken into. Cash and a significant amount of jewelry was reported stolen.
On Nov. 1 a customer at Kozmo restaurant, 11890 Douglas Road, reported that he left his leather jacket on the back of his chair, and when he returned the jacket containing Lexus car keys, glasses and iPhone had been stolen.
On Nov. 4 an employee at , 6115 Abbotts Bridge Road, reported that a number of rent checks and money orders were stolen from the drop box at the leasing office.
On Nov. 7 a customer at , 9700 Medlock Bridge Road, reported that she was sitting outside the coffee shop then decided to go inside, leaving her satchel bag on a chair outside. When she went back outside to get the bag, containing a debit card, check card and Escada sunglasses, it was gone.
On Nov. 12 a urinal in the men's restroom at was reported stolen.
On Oct. 25 a Comcast vehicle was reported broken into while parked at , 11877 Douglas Road. A work computer and computer bag were reported stolen.
On Nov. 1 a vehicle was reported broken into while parked at the Rivermont Station shopping center, 8465 Holcomb Bridge Road. A briefcase containing a laptop, digital camera, credit card and a cell phone was reported stolen.
On Nov. 5 a vehicle was reported broken into while parked at , 5805 State Bridge Road. A purse, check book and book of stamps were reported stolen.
On Nov. 7 a vehicle was reported broken into while parked at , 11555 Johns Creek Parkway. Credit cards were reported stolen.
On Nov. 11 a vehicle was reported broken into while parked on Brookhollow Lane. A GPS unit was reported stolen.
On Nov. 11 a vehicle was reported broken into while parked on Brookstead Crossing. A scanner and the vehicle's license plate was reported stolen.
