JC Firefighters Hosting 'Super CPR Saturday'

Residents can participate in free certified lifesaving classes during American Heart Month.

In conjunction with American Heart Month, Johns Creek's "Super CPR Saturday" returns Feb. 9 with free, basic lifesaving classes for residents and business owners in how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use an automated external defibrillator.

The classes, part of the city's Heart Ready program, will be taught by Johns Creek Firefighters/paramedics at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Park Place at Newtown School, Johns Creek’s Active Adult Center, 3125 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek.

The certification classes (based on American Heart Association's "Heartsaver”) are most appropriate for ages 12 and older. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 678-512-3221 or emailing Thomas.Johnson@johnscreekga.gov.
