Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.
Here are January's numbers as published in the newsletter:
Service calls: 6,039

Traffic accidents: 116
The burglaries occurred at Abbotts Walk, Blackstone (3), Cameron Forest, Citgo, Foxworth (2), Glastonberry, Hunters Forest, Lifetime Fitness, Montview, Oxford Mill and Rivermont
The car break-ins occurred at Cameron Forest, Colony Glen, Enclave - Foxdale, J. Christopher's, Jones Bridge Plantation (2), Jones Bridge Woods, Kroger, LA Fitness, Lifetime Fitness, North Peak, Pampas Steakhouse and Walgreen's.
According to the newsletter, the top five intersections for vehicle accidents were (1) Medlock Bridge and State Bridge, (2) State Bridge and Johns Bridge, (3) Medlock Bridge and Abbotts Bridge, (4) Medlock Bridge and Hospital Parkway and (5) Old Alabama and Nesbit Ferry.
According to the police department, there were no traffic fatalities in any of these incidents, with 11 percent reporting injuries. Most accidents happened on Friday evenings and were caused by following too closely.
