Greg Whitaker Golf Tourney Rescheduled for April 25
Weather conditions force cancelation.
The Johns Creek police and fire departments' golf tournament, originally scheduled to start at 8 a.m. today, has been moved to April 25 due to inclement weather. The tournament is to benefit the family of Corporal Greg Whitaker, a fellow police officer who died suddenly on March 2 following a brief illness.
However, as of 8 a.m., plans were still under way for the Johns Creek Chamber's annual tournament at Laurel Springs Country Club, as the rain is supposed to move out by start of play at 11 a.m. today.
