Gas Line Break Closes Johns Creek Street — Again
For the second time in a week, a contractor has severed a gas line along Ray Moss Connector at Jones Bridge Road.
A contractor has hit an unmarked gas service line, forcing the city of Johns Creek to close the Ray Moss Connector at Jones Bridge Road, according to the Johns Creek Police Department's Facebook page.
Residents can access businesses in the area by using State Bridge Road to Valais Court.
The police department, Johns Creek Public Works Department and Atlanta Gas Light are all on the scene. Atlanta Gas is working to repair the line, which could last into the evening.
This is the second time in the last seven days a gas line has been severed by a contractor on the same stretch of road. A portion of Jones Bridge Road was shut down last week due to a contractor hitting an unmarked gas line between Ray Moss Connector and Oak Landing Drive
